Stephanie Sawicki

Fresh Start Farm is honored to have Stephanie Sawicki as our Equine Specialist. Stephanie has an extremely broad array of talents in the horse industry. In recent years she has earned her living primarily as a barefoot hoof care specialist. She brings her eye for detail, her engineer’s mind and her drive to give nothing but the best to this crucial aspect of equine care.

Stephanie is also an accomplished trainer of both horses and people. You can see her effectiveness in the eyes of the horses. When Stephanie shows them how to correctly arrange their bodies their eyes light up. Horses clearly enjoy working with her.

Stephanie is a very effective instructor as well. She has coached children and their ponies to championships at local A rated shows over the years.

As if all that is not enough Stephanie is also a professional saddle fitter. Through her training she has an excellent understanding of horse biomechanics and has helped many horses to lead happier and more comfortable lives.

Stephanie will be offering sanctuary for some of our horses at her farm in north Ocala. There could be no better place for retired race and show horses than with Stephanie Sawicki!
